Norah is Four

Norah turned four yesterday, and we had a party for her at Pietro's Pizza. Here's what went down:

Here's the singing of the song and blowing out the candles (which I missed when I went to film Haddon, who was being funny):

Here's the birthday cake, courtesy of Kelly's mom. Norah asked, "Can I keep those toys on there?"

Norah had been wanting an umbrella. She's a true Californian by birth:
A Barbie doll from Grandma and Grandpa Lute. Norah had seen this on TV commercials and wanted it because you can cut her hair:

Norah was probably most excited for this gift, a toy cat that she can decorate (which she did first thing this morning):

Norah's been really into Fairies lately. Here's one of the dolls she got. She looks very excited, and so do I for some reason:

Here's a new hat she got from her cousins:

Haddon was there too:

Back at home, we spread out all the gifts in the living room and the kids went a little crazy. It took them a while to get to bed, and they ended up melting down today. But they sure were excited last night:

All in all, it was a fun night. Norah received a lot of nice gifts, and she had a lot of fun too. She is blessed to have good friends and family. It's too bad her friends from Colorado couldn't be there this year, but hopefully this helps to give an idea of what went on.

It looks kind of like you edited the film and Norah didn't actually blow her candles out. When you panned to Haddon something shady went down, I'm sure.

It's true. Norah didn't blow her candles out. Zach, her older cousin, did. He was helping.
