... There's just nothing too interesting going on.
Well, not that it isn't interesting, but maybe not to most.
Everyone's sickness passed just in time to go up to Portland and see Casey's cousin Alyssa get married. It was a bit of a bumpy evening as: 1) We forgot the wedding present. 2) We remembered that we forgot the wedding present right as Casey's parents pulled up meeting us on the highway on-ramp. 3) There was a wreck on I-5 that we anticipated, so the plan was to shoot off on another road to go around it. 4) There was another wreck on I-5 that we didn't anticipate, south of the other. 5) It took us about an hour and a half to make a trip that is usually about 45 minutes.
But despite the cruelties of I-5 Northbound, it was a beautiful wedding, and a joy to see Alyssa get married. She was a beautiful bride, and she is a beautiful person who loves Jesus.
The next morning, I went to a baby shower for a friend who I have not been able to see since high school. That was a sweet blessing, and I am glad I was able to attend...
BUT I had to get right home from that, so that I could pack last-minute for a big family vacation at Eagle Crest, which was fun, but not without some unfortunate moments. If I get some pictures, then I can write a post about it. That may be the most interesting thing that has happened of late.
I have not one picture from these events because the flash on our camera is broken. So I am dependant on the sharing of photos from others. But we have a plan to get one.
